About

T-Dog Customs specialises in high quality resprays for guitars and bass guitars. They offer a wide range in customised styles and colours. This successful start-up company required a logo to put themselves on the market as a professional and reliable business.

Challenge

The brief was to develop a logo that represented several different aspects of the company: the subject matter, creativity and artistic value, professionalism and high quality. The logo had to be clean, clear and minimal. An additional request was to enable T-Dog to stencil the logo onto the guitar headstock to advertise the brand on each sold product.

Response

We started off this process by creating moodboards, which illustrated the different directions the logo could take. After the client reviewed these, we created initial logo sketches that all varied widely in look and feel. Starting off with pencil and paper, the logos were then perfected in Illustrator. Collaborating closely with T-Dog to ensure he was happy with the results, we made further improvements to the most successful logos and eliminated those that were less fitting for the business.

The chosen design combined the letters T and D to give the impression of a guitar head, complete with strings to form a guitar shape. The circle can be used on its own, making it ideal for use on a guitar head stock, icon or social media picture.

Results

T-Dog was happy with the results and has applied the new logo on to the website and social media.

“I came across Digital Glue and decided to use their services and am glad I did! Holly and her team completely surpassed my expectations and created a unique design which is a perfect fit for my business! I was kept in the loop with regular email updates and they were more than happy to accommodate my requests, even with changes in the smallest details. I’m incredibly happy with the service I received from Digital Glue and I will definitely be using them again in the future!”
